My Night With Tepid

The night of May 18, 2013, will go down as a special day for this “overly-arrogant” writer. Not only did I get to see The Godfather of SDI and the William Riker of our group, but I also met a guru of Rangers minor league baseball, Tepid Participation. For a single night, I felt like the Brandon to his Omar.

It was an usual hot, humid North Texas night which I felt required shorts. I’m not a fan of shorts as they accentuate my pasty white legs, but nevertheless, I wore my white plaid shorts, light blue Rangers shirt and basketball shoes. Until this point in the cosmos, I had never seen Tepid; only talked with him briefly on Twitter.
