SDI Is Looking For New Writers

As SDI continues to grow and baseball continues to never end, we are constantly looking for new writers. 2016 is no exception.

SDI is now looking for new writers for the 2016 season and beyond. Your qualifications are simple:

Love Baseball

Like to write

Have some free time

We understand your time is valuable and because we do not offer pay, we cannot force you contribute more than you have time for. Our goal is to have enough writers so that you are only asked to produce something bi-weekly. If you want to contribute more than that, by all means, write something everyday!

SDI reaches thousands of Rangers fans on a daily basis and your work can be seen by many important folks. Our work has been featured on 105.3 The Fan on numerous occasions as well as mentioned on KTCK 1310 The Ticket and have been mentioned by Matt Hicks on the Rangers radio broadcast during a few games. We have been recognized Nationally by Ken Rosenthal, Jon Heyman, and as well as locally by the beat writers.

We have had several writers graduate to paid positions with WFAA Channel 8 as well.

If this is something that peaks your interest, send us an email with your availability along with a sample article of your writing. If you do not have a sample, write something up. It doesn’t have to be extravagant although, if it’s well written, we may use that as your debut piece here on the site.

Spread the word, tell your friends. Come have some fun.
