Billy is a baseball fanatic and has been around the game since he was four years old. The first ever game he attended was in September of '89 and Pete Incaviglia denied him an autograph after he had a bad batting practice session. Billy has held a grudge since. Billy is also a baseball coach who is known to dance around the dugout like Ron Washington during big plays in the game.

  • Putting money in the boot after a homer and imagining the excitement of the kid ballplayer when he gets real cash dumped out after the game. It’s the last level in ball where the fans can have this effect on players.

  • The atmosphere at the RoughRiders games are crazy fun. I’ve been to countless Rangers games and I am a die hard fan. But when I went to my first a RoughRiders game this year, I got to see a minor league atmosphere at its best. I absolutely loved my time there and no doubt want to go back to experience it again.

    • I really want to go to see the rough riders play. I haver never been to see them play or the Dr Pepper stadium. I really need a short getaway. I love BBQ and can’t wait to party in a suite with all of y’all good folks. Look forward to seeing you.

  • I’ve never been! But my mom took my son, and he has been wanting to take me ever since. It’d be a perfect first experience to see the team and meet the SDI community.

    • Congratulations Kym, your name was one of the names drawn today. You have won a pair of tickets to SDI Night this Thursday in Frisco! I will email you shortly with more information!

  • I’ve been to two Rough Riders games over my two summers here in the metroplex. I love going to root our Double-A players on their route to successful big league careers. My favorite thing about the games? This year, Nomar Mazara hit a no doubter, multi rbi home run (shocker, right?) To my surprise, the vendors were passing boots around the ballpark. Why you ask? To tip Mazara on his impactful at-bat! So, with a grateful heart and a passion for the game I donated to the cause. Can’t wait to attend Shut Down Inning night and spend time discussing a great sport that begins here in the minors with knowledgeable fans and the special guests!

  • I have never been to a Rough Riders ball game. It would be awesome to go to a game. I have wanted to go to their game for a long time. I really need a mini get away. I am just a good Ole boy and would love to meet and party with y’all. Thank you ahead of time for this opportunity.

  • My first RR game was actually delayed for more than 2 hours due to rain and traveling from Tarrant, we were not about to leave early. Atmosphere was great, even with the small crowd. Something about a intimate baseball setting that makes the experience all that much more enjoyable. I believe we got to see a couple kids play that ended up making the big club (Feliz, Harrison), which is what is all about. You grow attached to the players in the minors and root for the guys to make it to the majors. Would like the opportunity to do it again on Thursday.

My favorite memory at a Rough Riders game was when a ball struck the window that my friend and I were sitting by. We both jump 20 feet and the window had to be replace. Its a great place to watch baseball and be close to all the action.

    • Congratulations Monica, you name was one of the winning names we drew out of a hat! I will email you shortly with further information!

When the Rangers aren’t in town, hitting up a Riders game is a great way to unwind after a long day at the office. There isn’t a bad seat in the house and the entire ballpark is immaculate. It’s great to see the future of the big club in action. I enjoyed seeing Josh Hamilton make his way back to Arlington earlier this year. Always a great experience in Frisco with friendly staff and great fans. If you haven’t seen the ballpark’s upgrades this season, you’ve got to check it out.

  • That day is my BDay and I’ve never been to a riders game. What??? That’s not good enough??? I does the twitter too. Oh and I’m in my upper 30’s so obviously I’ll die soon and you don’t want to deny a dying man his possibly last chance to see MiLB players live with free BBQ and stuff.

  • I love going to the Riders games and seeing guys play that are trying to make it to the show. It’s also a good way to relax and enjoy a couple hours of free time.

  • I haven’t been to a Riders game yet and would love to go! I want to see our up-and-coming Rangers prospects play; especially Mazara. And to meet Chuck Morgan would be cool too! Thanks for the opportunity to win tickets!
