West Coast Rangers Blues

**ORIGINAL POSTED DATE 7/18/12**

From the Emerald City to the ‘Frisco Bay,
To some dumb town southwest of LA.
The games start too late at night,
And don’t end ‘til the very next day

Fears of earthquakes and tremors,
Facing players on teams that no one remembers.
We have to win more than we lose,
In order to make it to the first of November.

I’ve got the West Coast Rangers Blues,
Can’t sleep good ‘til this Roadtrip is through.
Damn these West Coast Rangers Blues,
Come home soon the Ballpark misses you.

O.co has way too much foul play,
At least that’s good for Oswalt’s ERA.
The boys will eat sushi and rest,
While Tag plays golf on the off day.

Computers, Coeds, and Wine,
Make Silicon Valley a fairly good time.
The fog, the wind, and the drizzling rain,
Don’t factor in when the games start at nine.

I’ve got the West Coast Rangers Blues,
Can’t sleep good ‘til this Roadtrip is through.
Damn these West Coast Rangers Blues,
Come home soon the Ballpark misses you.

Blue skies and a cool breeze,
I guess is better than 100 degrees.
But all the good weather on the face of the earth,
Would never be enough to root for Pujols and Ceej.

West Coast trips occur at least three times a year,
So we have to stay up for the Rangers and cheer.
As long as they win, it’s worth staying up late,
Until next time, clinching the West will be near.

I’ve got the West Coast Rangers Blues,
Can’t sleep good ‘til this Roadtrip is through.
Damn these West Coast Rangers Blues,
Come home soon the Ballpark misses you.
